An entry specifically for myself. A memoir of some food enjoyed within this year. Dishes that I’ve eaten before and some new ones which I’ve never tried in my life. Some cooked by me, some sampled in restaurants.
Today, more than ever, I am grateful for having been born and raised in Asia. That is really where great food comes from and there’s no topping it. The dishes photographed here are from the U.S. and are merely similar in looks but nowhere near in tastes like the ones from Malaysia and Singapore except, those that are of western in origin.
Nevertheless, food is food and you have to take what you can get and teach your taste-buds to adjust and like it.
